This gringo bilingual German/Italian-blooded attorney (not Hispanic by blood; Momma was of pure Italian descent) is regularly assigned by Suffolk County Judges to handle bilingual criminal and Family and Criminal Court public defender-type cases from beginning to end. He speaks entirely in Spanish to his Hispanic clients. He writes in the Spanish language (Espanol). He has written and spoken Spanish (Espanol) for about 35 years. So far, he has represented at least 50 latin and hispanic American persons at the request of the Suffolk County Judges alone. This does not include many more latinos he has helped in the rest of his practice. Mr. Weidman has been a screened panel attorney for AARP'S discounted legal fee program (stands for Association for the Advancement of Retired Persons).
