Mr. Weidman was graduated Summa Cum
Laude from C. W. Post College of the Long Island University in 1982, with
distinction of being in the top two percent (2%) of the graduating class of the
entire university. He took mostly Honors Program courses. He received awards
for excellence in political science, social science, conversational Spanish,
Pre-Law and constitutional law. He played first string (starting) goaltender
for the ice hockey team. He still plays. He was also the founder and President
of the ice hockey team. He had the help of the New York Islanders in forming
and funding the cost of his team. He hates New York Rangers. The Metropolitan
Collegiate Hockey Conference coaches voted him the best goaltender in 1981. Now
about 50 years old, he still plays ice hockey goalie on Long Island with ...... yes
......... 20 year-olds!! Talk about a mid-life crisis!! He currently does off ice
physical training at a semi-pro off-ice exercise facility in Hauppauge. Has a
bit more fat to lose.
